Summer Camp at HBMH: Dinosaurs

These past few weeks have been filled with dinosaur fossil making, bone tracing, diorama making, story telling, and much more. Our Dinosaur Summer Camp was probably the most popular so far! The children loved reading about different dinosaurs, and creating various dinosaur projects.DSC_0758We created skeletons by cutting and pasting dinosaur bones onto paper. DSC_0760DSC_0788We made tiny dinosaur footprints, or “fossils” in dough, learning about the process of fossilization. DSC_0768DSC_0795Dinosaur Dioramas were a huge hit! Friends enjoyed tracing and pin-pricking the various dinosaurs and landscaping patterns. We painted shoe boxes and decorated the interior with sand to simulate a desert. DSC_0794DSC_0796DSC_0776Stay tuned for upcoming photos of this week’s Cooking Summer Camp!
