Each holiday is a chance to celebrate different cultural rituals. Recognizing different holidays helps promote peace within our children and gives them a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures around the world. In Montessori, the term “holiday” often times refers to a cultural celebration rather than a time to focus on materialistic things.

“In the Montessori environment, celebrating holidays and festivals is an important and exciting study for the students that focuses on the tradition and rituals of celebrations.”
