Fire Truck Visit

In honor of fire prevention week, we had a surprise visit from the fire truck this morning! The Plano Fire Department visited our school to teach the children about fire prevention and safety practices, as well as the insides of an actual fire truck! Many of our friends were excited, a few timid, but all came out with confident knowledge about fire prevention.

We learned how to stop, drop, and roll!

We also learned how to identify firemen, and that we shouldn't be scared of them if they search for us in a house fire.

We got to see the inside of a fire truck, and learn about the many tools that are used to help put out fires.
